My Journey at Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University
Back
June 22, 2025

My journey started at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, where I studied Biomedical Engineering (HEM) for four years (2018–2022). It was a valuable chapter—but deep down, I always knew my real passion was programming and building things with computers.

So I made a decision that changed everything: I shifted my career path from engineering to computer science. This wasn’t because I failed or was forced out—it was a choice I made on my own, driven by what I had wanted from the beginning. Today, I’m genuinely proud of that step and excited about where it’s taking me.

Engineering also shaped how I work. It taught me how to perform under pressure, manage time, and push for accurate results efficiently. I learned how to stay focused, finish the job before taking a break, and deliver the best possible outcome even when time is limited—skills I still rely on in software development.

Now, through devfolio.net, I share my story, my CV, and the projects I’ve built as a React.js Front-End Developer. I’m always learning, always building, and always looking for opportunities to create clean, responsive, and user-focused experiences.
